Compass Energy Systems Ltd. (Compass) a leading provider of compression and gas processing systems worldwide, is pleased to announce that we are expanding our Parts + Service Division into the southern United States.
Compass currently has a U.S. Service Team covering the northwestern United States to support the gas compression and processing products coming out of our Canadian manufacturing operations. This expansion is focused on providing parts and services to energy companies located in the southern United States, and the initial focus of this team is to provide gas compression and process refrigeration services to the north Texas and Oklahoma regions.
Compass President, John Forgeron, states, “right on the heels of our recent acquisition of Exterran’s U.S. compression assets (including the Brittmoore Road Facility in Houston, TX), now is the perfect time to expand our Service offerings into the southern United States. When we made the decision to acquire these U.S. compression assets, we knew that expanding our Parts and Service offerings was something we would do to meet the high customer demands in the southern U.S. for reliable and fast service by experienced and OEM-trained field service technicians.”
Our new Service Team is based out of our Brittmoore Facility in Houston, TX. The team consists of highly skilled and experienced people in management and field service. John Forgeron, commented, “The caliber of this team is exceptional, and we are especially honored to have the industry-renowned, Patrick Doran, join us as a strategic consultant to help us achieve our vision for this expanded business offering.”
Our new Service team will be led by Daniel Reynolds. Dan has been in the Compression business in Texas for more than 15 years and has solid experience successfully leading strong service teams and ensuring quality control and customer satisfaction.
This decision supports Compass’ plans for growth and expansion in the United States. Chief Operating Officer, Bill Moore commented, “having a Parts and Service Division to support our U.S.-manufactured gas compression products gives us the ability to support our customers through the full lifecycle their equipment.”
