John Festival has been a board member of Compass since 2014.

With over 30 years of experience, John is a highly experienced individual in the energy industry. He serves as the President, CEO, and Director of Broadview Energy Ltd., a private corporation with heavy oil assets in Alberta and Saskatchewan in Canada. He also serves as a director for Athabasca Oil Corporation, i3 Energy, and Gibson Energy Inc.

John graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Throughout his career, he has held various leadership roles, including President and Chief Executive Officer of BlackPearl Resources Inc. and President of BlackRock Ventures Inc.
