Doug joined Compass in 2011 in the newly created position of Chief Financial Officer. Doug leads and oversees the company’s finances and day-to-day financial operations. He has been instrumental in developing and implementing financial strategies and programs that have streamlined Compass’ financial processes and provide the company with ongoing cost benefits.

Doug is a talented and seasoned financial executive with more than 30 years of experience in strategic planning, structuring financing, raising capital, financial management and reporting.

Prior to joining Compass, Doug was the CFO of a public oilfield service company, and prior to that held senior financial roles in the packaged goods and communications sectors.

Doug is committed to ensuring Compass has best-in-class financial reporting and stewardship processes. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant with a great sense of humor that is much enjoyed by his Compass team and colleagues.
