Compass was delighted to have renowned guest speaker, W. Brett Wilson, come to our Frontier shop today and speak during our first Corporate Update of the year, which was themed around “I Love Canadian Energy.”
Brett enlightened and entertained about 230 Compass employees, as well as some of our Compass shareholders, in a 30-minute talk that addressed Alberta’s political climate, the energy industry, Dragon’s Den and Brett’s stories and thoughts on the importance of critical thinking. Brett then opened the floor for Q&A and answered questions on topics ranging from the Nashville Predators to pipelines to Bill C-69 to SNC-Lavalin.
We wrapped up the event with a group photo with everyone proudly wearing their “I Love Canadian Energy t-shirts. Brett and our shareholders also joined in on the photo.
The event was held in 2 bays in our purpose-built, state-of-the-art, 80,000 square Frontier shop where we fabricate and assemble compression and process equipment for the natural gas industry.
